2021 Garden Tour

Mark your calendar for the first weekend in June! The Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners will be hosting their 2021 Garden Tour and Native Plant Sale. 

The 2021 Garden Tour will feature seven gardens throughout Lawrence and the surrounding area. The gardens will be featured on our website and Facebook pages in the coming weeks. Tickets are $10 and will be for sale as we get closer to the event. One of the gardens on the tour is the Douglas County Fairgrounds Demonstration Garden located next to the Extension office at 2110 Harper St. in Lawrence. Not only can you stroll through these lovely gardens you can enter a raffle for choice garden related items donated from local businesses or buy some garden crafts for your yard and home. Details will be available soon on our website at https://www.douglas.k-state.edu/lawn-garden/index.html. Tour is open Saturday 6/5 and Sunday 6/6. 

The 2021 Extension Master Gardener Native Plant Sale will feature 16 different boxes of 18 plants each. Each box is designed by Master Gardeners for different conditions or interests. We’ll have boxes for sunny and shady locations, wet and dry locations, boxes for pollinators, boxes for cut flowers, boxes for birds and more! All sales will be online and contact free pick up will be Saturday 6/5 and Sunday 6/6 at the Fairgrounds.
