Create Better Health Program Higlight
Create Better Health highlight! Our SNAP-Ed team has just wrapped up another Create Better Health series at EKAN. This series aims to educate participants in basic cooking skills (discuss its concepts) and practice new habits that will help them take control of their nutrition and health.
Teen Cuisine Highlight
Teen Cuisine is designed to teach youth from grades 6-12 important life skills to promote optimal health- both in the present and in the future. The curriculum addresses key concepts about nutrition, food preparation, cooking, food safety, and physical activity. Using games, and hands on activities during the lessons, it enhances the learning and behavior change among teens.
