Master Food Volunteers
The Extension Master Food Volunteer Program provides a foundation of knowledge and skills to volunteers in the subject areas of food safety, food science, food preparation, and food preservation. In return, after completing the training, volunteers will provide 40 hours of community education and service to the public.

Want to downsize your kitchen or find useful kitchen tools and books?
Our Extension Master Food Volunteers are hosting another Kitchen Sale of lightly used kitchen-ware! We are accepting donations at the K-State Research and Extension Douglas County Office from March 27- April 25, 9 am - 4pm!
The Sale will be happening on April 27, 2024 from 10am - 2 pm! Proceeds will go towards our Extension Master Food Volunteer program that supports food-safety programs, food preservation, food publication education and more throughout the community!
