Ginny Barnard is the Executive Director for LiveWell Douglas County, a coalition of community partners who are committed to the health and well-being of Douglas County residents. Ginny provides support for the leadership team and six work groups. She has a passion for working with community coalitions to influence health equity in Douglas County.  

Ginny began her professional career in 2006 as an Extension Agent in Riley County. After moving with her family to Douglas County in 2017, Ginny has had the opportunity to work at Lawrence High School, Baldwin High School, and LMH Health. She received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health Nutrition and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Kansas State University. In her free time, Ginny loves reading, cooking, gardening, and walking.
