Douglas County Livestock Association

The Douglas County Livestock Association began as an effort to support, promote and improve livestock in the county.

DCLA provides a number of educational programs designed to support livestock producers, our urban neighbors, and our 4-H livestock project members. Some of our activities include:

• Sponsoring Beef Awards & Carcass Contest for Douglas County Fair
• Sponsor Day on the Farm
• Sponsor Field Days & Other Livestock Meetings
• Cooperate with Extension to provide portable livestock scales and chute for producers to use
• Sponsor Scholarships for Douglas County Students continuing their education.
