- We will honor Ms. Dreher directly following Mr. Bromelsick's Memorial
- Please wear a 4-H and bring flowers for each memorial
2026 New 4-H Fair T-Shirts | Order Deadline May 31
New Douglas County Fair T-Shirt design for 2026. Thank you, Douglas County 4-H Foundation, for purchasing our fair exhibitor T-shirts! All enrolled 4-H members may claim one free T-shirt. Please sign up for your t-shirt at: https://bit.ly/DGCOUNTYFAIRTSHIRT by May 31st!
County-Wide 4-H Rocketry Meeting | May 31, 2:00 p.m. Dreher Family 4-H Bldg.
If you are interested in building a rocket for the Douglas County Fair, this meeting is for you. Please check the newsletter for details.
Horse ID Papers Due | June 1
4-H members planning to show their horse at the Douglas County 4-H Horse Show and/or Kansas State 4-H Horse Show are required to ID their horse. You must present a negative Coggins test dated within the past 12 months at show check-in.
Horse ID papers are due to the Douglas County Extension Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1st. New members showing a horse in the Douglas County Fair or the Kansas State Fair must pass the horse safety quiz. Douglas County Breeding Animal Lease Papers Due | June 15
Douglas County 4-H will allow leasing of animal science projects to encourage more members to have the opportunity to show livestock. This program is designed to make it possible for a 4-H member to have a non-owned 4-H project that can be exhibited at the Douglas County Fair.
