Douglas County 4-H Foundation

Our Mission

To promote and develop 4-H youth development programs in Douglas County, Kansas, through the development and enhancement of available resources and support higher education opportunities for Douglas County 4-H members.

What is the Douglas County 4-H Foundation?

The Douglas County 4-H Foundation is a not-for-profit Kansas corporation established in 1983.

Through the use of private resources, the Foundation supports and promotes Douglas County 4-H youth activities and adult leadership training.

How does the Foundation function?

The Douglas County 4-H Foundation is governed by a seven member board of directors who serve voluntarily. The directors make decisions about program funding.

Your membership contribution and/or gifts benefit Douglas County 4-H programs.

The Douglas County 4-H Foundation has invested resources in the lives of youth for over 20 years by providing:

  • Scholarships for Secondary and Post Graduate Education
  • 4-H Camping Opportunities
  • Awards and Trips
  • Volunteer Leader Training
  • Educational Learning Activities
