4-H Foundation Contributions
Douglas County 4-H Foundation
The Douglas County 4-H Foundation was established in 1983 to support the work of the Douglas County 4-H Youth Development programs. For over 30 years the Foundation has raised private funds to assist, maintain and grow the Douglas County 4-H Program. The financial support the Foundation provides allows the K-State Research and Extension office in Douglas County to provide more opportunities for youth, volunteers, and alumni.
Because of the support of gracious donors, the Foundation awards over $20,000 in college scholarships from endowed funds annually to 4-H alumni. The Foundation always provides over $7,000 each year to enhance 4-H Youth Development Programs in Douglas County.
Financial gifts to the Douglas County 4-H Foundation allow us to support the expansion of programs that contribute to the growth and development of the next generation of leaders. Each donation, regardless of size, is greatly appreciated and provides funding to expand our programs. You can designate your gift for a specific purpose or allow it to be used as needed to enhance the 4-H experience for Douglas County youth. Please keep us in mind when you are considering estate planning for yourself or memorials for loved ones.
Gifts can be made in a variety of ways: online, via mail, or in-person. To make a donation today visit www.douglascounty4h.foundation. For more information about the Douglas County 4-H Foundation call our office at 785-843-7058.
